Beginning
TENORI’s story began in 2003 with 3 tenor colleagues from the UK all trained at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. They began producing concerts in aid of national charities close to to their hearts - Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and the National Kidney Research Fund. What began as a tour of the north west of England, led to TENORI growing to becoming one of the finest 3 Tenors ensembles in Europe showcasing the best from the opera and musical theatre stages.
Now
Led by award winning tenor, Alexander Grove (@uktenor), Tenori is a an international tenor group that together with some of Europe's leading songwriters and producers, are delighting the public with opera crossover ("popera") bridging the gap for the public between the exactness of the opera and musical theatre stages with the love of the pop stages and arenas, with tours, new music and exciting popular guest artists.
What We Do...
It's all about the tenors! Almost... TENORI's repertoire covers the greatest tenor and 3 Tenors hits including opera, music theatre and film as well as many of the greatest duets and ensembles of the last 50 years.
