      TENORI (EUROPE)

      TENORI’s story began in 2003 with 3 tenor colleagues from the UK. After realising that they all had father's that had died of various diseases when they were younger, they began producing concerts in aid of national charities close to to their hearts - Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and the National Kidney Research Fund. What began as a small tour of the north west of England, led to TENORI growing to becoming one of the finest 3 Tenors ensembles in the world.

       

      Led by award winning international tenor, Alexander Grove and joined by stars of the opera and west end stages from the UK and Europe, TENORI deliver top class entertainment, bespoke concerts and events, delighting audiences singing the most well known 3 Tenors hits and paying homage to the great tenors of our time, whether it be the greats of the opera world, the West End stage or the crossover and film genres. They perform both with and without amplification accompanied by a pianist, a band, a string quartet, an orchestra, or with professional, orchestral quality backing tracks. TENORI are international opera and musical theatre stars trained at the highest levels performing for the public, for private and corporate clients, royalty, on international stages in opera houses, the West End, on television, radio, soundtracks, concert platforms, arenas, in arenas, concert venues, weddings, cruise ships, opening ceremonies or major corporate events.

       

      TENORI are often joined by special guests in demand on the operatic, concert and musical theatre stages throughout the world.

       

      Behind TENORI is a team of musicians, arrangers, orchestrators, sound technicians, event organisers and lighting designers that can be harnessed to bring the best for any occasion.

      It's all about the tenors! Almost... TENORI's repertoire is extensive and they all cover the greatest tenor and 3 Tenors hits including opera, music theatre and film as well as many of the greatest duets and ensembles of the last 50 years.

      Alexander Grove

      Hailed by the BBC as "England's Mario Lanza", Alexander Grove was born in London, England. As well as founding TENORI, his solo operatic career currently spans 34 years and has taken him to all corners of the globe, including the USA, Japan and Brazil performing to audiences as varied as 35,000 a night in arenas, to lead roles in A-stage opera houses. In 2010 Kiri Te Kanawa made him the male winner of the Kiri Prize "Search for an Opera Star". Through extensive international touring and performing, Alexander has established himself as one of the foremost tenors to emerge from the UK in recent years.

      Kalle Leander

      Kalle Leander was educated at the University College of Opera in Stockholm, Malmö Academy of Music and the Music Conservatory in Falun. He is a regular on Sweden's stages including Royal Opera in Stockholm, Folkoperan, Drottningholm and Göteborgs Operan.

      Mike Sterling

      Mike Sterling

      Mike is a performer with 30 years experience under his belt, encompassing west end theatre, tv, radio, classical stage, cruise lines and recording. His West End credits include 'The Phantom' in The Phantom of the Opera of which he performed over 1000 times at Her Majesty's theatre, London and UK tour. This and his portrayal of 'Jean Valjean' in Les Misérables have seen him as one of the West End’s leading performers.

      Ulric Björklund

      Ulric Björklund

      Tenor, Ulric Björklund is a graduate of the University College of Opera in Stockholm and is a regular on opera stages throughout Scandanavia.

      David Habbin

      David Habbin

      David is best known for the lead role of Tony for the UK tour and the West End run of the revival of the original production of ‘West Side Story’ performing over 500 shows. A trained opera and musical theatre singer, David was also a founder member of ‘Amici forever' - the first opera band. Their debut album with Sony BMG, ‘The Opera Band’, achieved gold status in the UK, double platinum in Australia, triple platinum in New Zealand and was named as the number 2 Classical Crossover album for 2004 in the United States. David has toured and performed in more than 25 countries around the world.

      John Hudson

      John Hudson

      John is one of the UK's leading tenors performing internationally and is best known as principal tenor with English National Opera where he sung lead roles including Rodolfo, Ottavio, Alfredo, Des Grieux, Leicester, Licinius, Nadir, Ernesto, Steersman, Tamino, Duke of Mantua, Ernani, Pinkerton, Don José, Turiddu, Cavaradossi and Radames.

      Stephen Anthony Brown

      Stephen Anthony Brown

      Stephen studied at Trinity College, London and at the Royal College of Music Benjamin Britten International Opera School. With an extensive variety of repertoire, from baroque to contemporary opera, Stephen is a regular with the UK's opera companies and orchestras. Stephen is also Tenori's lead orchestral arranger.

       

      Andrew Rees

      Andrew Rees

      Welsh tenor Andrew Rees is a stalwart on the UK opera stages. A member of Royal Opera, London, Andrew made his Royal Opera debut in 2011 and is a former company principle for English National Opera.

      Charne Rochford

      Charne Rochford

      Praised for his "baritonal colouring" and "Otello-like stature", London-born dramatic tenor Charne Rochford was recently made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music by the Governing Body of the Royal Academy of Music. Charne made his cinematic debut at the Venice Film Festival as 2nd Officer (Priest) in The Magic Flute directed by Kenneth Branagh.

      Anthony Flaum

      Anthony Flaum

      Anthony is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, London and the National Opera Studio. Anthony sings for most of the major and regional UK opera companies and orchestras including English National Opera, Scottish Opera, Grange Park Opera, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & the BBC Concert Orchestra.

      Lincoln Stone

      Lincoln Stone

      Lincoln is a regular on the music theatre and light opera stages of the UK having worked with the Carl Rosa Opera company in many lead roles, guest artist on board the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship, and a former member of Legally Blonde the musical.
